About The Farm

The farm is located in the hills of Portland at an altitude of approximately 2000 meters.  Due to the topography (steep inclines, rolling hills) the decision was made to develop a tree crop farm.  The motivation for doing so was derived from a now out of print publication entitled “Tree Crops the Way of the Future”.  Although the land was purchased in 1976, large scale cultivation was not started until 2006.  The farm was then formally registered with the Jamaica Agricultural Society and Rural Agricultural Development Agency (RADA).
